This is the end for my film

(Jed leaves the cabin and begins to walk away and starts to cry)

Camera starts to show the scenes of all Jed has gone through and he remembers his mother’s words

Mother:

He begins to run to the place where his mother is buried.

He stops and stands there.

Reverend Haggard comes up and put his hand on his shoulder, Jed is only half startled.

Haggard: Son I know your pain, I know your loss, I two lost sons in this past war, but that’s beside the point we must live on but I knew your mother well she would have you to take care of things since she’s gone.

Jed: but it hurts so much not ever seeing her again.

Haggard: I know it does.

Jed: But I want everything to be the same.

Haggard: You made choice 5 years ago you will pay for that choice you made, and not only that you are a man now. Isn’t that what you wanted in the first place?

Jed: Yes, but…

Haggard: But, is not good enough this reality.

Jed: I guess you’re right I must be a man and take charge.

Haggard: I’m glad to see that.

Movie ends with a freeze shot.

Stonewall Jackson

In Stonewalls farewell address to his men, as depicted in the movie God’s and Generals he said this.

“In the Army of the Shenandoah, you were the First Brigade! In the Army of the Potomac you were the First Brigade! In the Second Corps of this Army, you are the First Brigade! You are the First Brigade in the affections of your general, and I hope by your future deeds and bearing you will be handed down the posterity as the First Brigade in this our Second War of Independence. Farewell!”

At this point of the Civil War stonewall Jackson had become a legend in his own time. He had done many heroic acts for the south. His men cheered him on even though they had endured some the grusimist hardships ever. It was not long after he had been reassigned to his brigade he was mortally wounded and passed away.

The Importance in film

Films effect us in many ways for it has been said a picture is worth a thousand words, a movie or film must be very compelling and worth billions of words or more. That is why when we have had racy films filled all kinds of immorality we have had a cultural moral breakdown. This is why it is so important to take back the film indestry. We as Christian need to get together an make films for Gods glory.

A New Film script

by Andrew Koch on Mon Aug 24, 2009 7:45pm

I have a new film script. I am getting a extremely good gaming computer for my animation. But I do not only want to do animation. I want to make a film:

“To Be A Man” The Story Line is this.

To Be a Man:

Characters: Jed Miller, Reed Miller, Martha Miller “Ma”, Sgt. Thompson, 30 Confederate soldiers, 65 Federal soldiers, Pvt. Jackson, John Judson,

Setting 1862 Civil War Era “Battle of Pea Ridge”

Plot: Jed Miller is 14 years old, he believes going to war will be the greatest thing he will ever do. He tells his brother so and shares his plans to runaway to join the confederate army in the close settlement of Tyler, Texas. He joins a confederate national unit, 6th Infantry.  He joins December 14th, 1861. After he hears the great tales of the successful battles in the eastern part of the continent, he finally follows through with his plans. His life is hard and he doubts the talk about soldier life is so good. He sees his first conflict and he loses his best friend and is wounded himself.  He remembers his life and turns to Christ he also remembers his ma and wishes to see but then at the end coming home in 1865 his ma is dead. The last part of the movie is clips of his final battles and then he goes home.

Location: Liendo Plantation

Reenactors: 11th Texas Cav, 1st Texas infantry, 18th Texas infantry,

I would like you feedback and thoughts on this I would need tons of help my Director is kinda out of not interested thats why I made a second studio Ten C Pictures

Gettysburg

I was honored to be able to visit Gettysburg this month. I have always heard about the battle, and I have always wanted to see it. The conflicts betwen the states in the 1860's proved to me that both sides had faults but since I live in Texas, I must roote for the brave Texans a Devils Den. Since I am an reenactor I think we should all give respect to the brave men in the Civil War.

Politics the way of the world

  • Mood:
  • Music:

Politics have always been the thing men talk about as a hobby. But have we as Christians been active in protecting are political rights and keeping the laws that are founding fathers put in writing? No, the laws that are passing now are separating the roots on which this country was founded on. When a plant is cut from its roots the plant dies. The same happens when a country cuts itself off from its godly roots and trades for Socialism it will fail and the fall will be great. Think of the recession, dishonest people lie to the public an the stocks go up until the truth comes out an the country goes into recession.

Your political thinker,

Obama: A Real Politician, But not a Honest Man

By Montana Jack

Obama a name that has swept the nation with talk, he is not only the first African American President but he is the most deceitful. A Politician has been thought of as a windbag, a liar, and says anything to get elected. So it’s a fair statement to say Barrack Obama is a real politician. But, does this mean he cares for the average American? No, President Obama has spent more money then all the Presidents in U.S. have in their first year of office. The most dishonest thing about Obama is his unwillingness to show his birth certificate. There is proof that Obama went to Iran when it was illegal for American born citizens to go there. Obama Is not a legal President we should not give him this title. But no one has stood up against him. Why? All the Branches of the government now are controlled by the Democrats. We need to stand up for what this country has stood for. For information to protest against Obama go to www.WND.com

“Where is God?”

“Where is God?”

God has always been a person we believe in. Our country was founded on biblical principals. But we have made a giant landslide shift to agnostic, Humanistic society. People at all times have questioned if God’s existence. People; also always ask “If God is real why can’t we see Him?” Some Christians have trouble explaining. God is like a Spirit, He is three in one a trinity. God is out of our dimension, He is to complex to understand. It is arrogant of us to say we can understand God. God has always been, being, and will be. He has no beginning or end. So, who are we to say we can understand God? Does a snail know about God? No yet it is apart of God’s creation. So how can God care for us? He loves us so much that He gave his only son to die on a cross to take the penalty. You are probably wondering what penalty? Have you ever lied, stole, lusted, or coveted?
God says this is sin. God hates sin. Everyone has done wrong whether in secret or in public. You must accept Jesus Christ to gain salvation. If you are interested in becoming a Christian e-mail me:

Retaking the Film market

  • Mood:

Quine, David. Let Us Highly Resolve. Richardson: Cornerstone Curriculum

Project.

"A second choice lies before man at the end of this century. Man could

deny reason and revelation and return to experience and feelings with a

New Age twist. Man, however, becomes irratational in this system as he

entrusts himself to the impersonal Force of the Eastern Religions.

The most dramatic and persuasive introduction of the Eastern

pantheistic world view came from the multimillion dollar movie series

"Star Wars" by George Lucas. "Luke, trust your feelings," exhorts

Obi-wan. The old Jedi Master instructs his student Luke Skywalker not to

rely upon his reason or his sense, but rather his inner touch with a

higher reality- the Force. The scene is the one in which the young

Western-looking boy is learning to fight, using a light saber. To test

Luke's inner connection with the Force, Obi-wan gives him a helmet

that covers his eyes as he practices. To Luke's surprise he actually

hits his mark. In this movie Luke is being taught that rationality and

senses are actually obstructing the Force. Later the in the story the

rebellion is about to be crushed by the Death Star. However, in a

dramatic segment the same young fighter pilot engages the two meter

target to destroy the Death Star at an incredible speed with the use of

the most advanced computer tracking technology. Within the just seconds

of releasing the missiles, a spirit voice guiding him says," Use the

Force, Luke Let go trust me." Will the young pilot trust

his fighter training and sophisticated technology or will he trust the

Force? He shuts down his on-board computer tracking system and he

relies upon the Force to direct his behavior. He releases the missiles.

Within seconds the Death Star dramatically explodes by a direct hit

guided not by reason, not by the senses, not by technology, but by the

Force.

In the sequel the young boy is ready for his advanced training in Zen

Buddhism. He searches and finds the Jedi Master Yoda, a strange looking

creature with great ability to use the Force. At one point Luke in

frustration demands of the Master: "Tell me why!"

"Why? Never ask why!" chides Yoda.

"You must unlearn what you have learned."

Many millions of people coming with a heritage of the Western

Judeo-Christian or secular world view were powerfully introduced to

Eastern pantheistic world view in the most dramatic way- a powerful

presentation of the false god of Eastern thought and a false view of

man. There is an interesting observation about this whole episode: those

displaying the greatest rationality and thought were actually robots!

Be ready! Three more episodes from the gospel according to Lucas on the

Force philosophy are soon to be released. Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

takes us deep into the inner sanctum of the Jedi Temple to instruct us

in the religious nature of the Force. These movies have and will

continue to dramatically shape the thinking of the Western culture.

Hollywood is such a powerful force. Producers and directors are tempted

to usher in their theology through dazzling cinematography."

This is the heart of the Star wars craze I am not comdemning those who watch it. I am asking the question Should we as Christians watch this stuff? So where do you stand? I hope this has conviced you to join the Anti- Star wars side.

Have you ever wondered am I living my upmost for Christ? Do I make it my goal to serve Him? I have found that these questions I have made help you with your personal relationship with Jesus.

Hard Questions for Christ
1.    Would you give up your life for Christ?
2.    Would you give up your life for your family?
3.    Would you give up your life for someone outside of your family?
4.    Would you trust God to provide in a rough situation?
5.    Are you willing to give all your earthly goods for Christ?
6.    Are you open to the promptings of God’s spirit?
7.    Are you open to convictions of the Holy Spirit?
8.    Are you strict in daily devotions?
9.    Do you consult the Lord before doing something?
10.           Is your ambition to do hard things for Christ?
11.           Is it your goal to serve others?
